Something rare this weekend, lost both the matches on both days, very semiordinary performance as a team, on saturday some good batting from jag, gave a good start and foundation but later we were unable to increase the strike rate, we were once in a very good position of winning that match, but we lost the match due to poor fielding, almost we gave some 25-30 runs in fielding, bowling was better compared to previous game, but poor fielding was the reason for losing that match....
Sunday again our team continued to show bad performances against jaya team, now we are in downslide, we have to come good, we have planned to reset our statistics, our last match for this statistics will be the 22nd saturday match.
so we will close the statistics with a winning note...

Excellent match on saturday, we have done well in both the matches and kept our winning percentage was raising against the chartered team,
the first match against chartered was excellent team work, good bowling and good batting from Jag,Vijay ,Shankar,all of them played well and ensured the win.
Second match was also an excellent team work, we gave some runs bowling first, but there was some good batting from siva, raj, shatish, rajamani .. excellent batting from raj who increased the runrate of the team, welldone raj some good batting on saturday and sunday...
On sunday it was a disappointing performance, we had a 100% winning record against muthu team before, but we lost that momentum, anyhow we will bounce back stronger, the main reason was failure in middle order batting, and we came back well by taking some wickets, but poor fielding and some drop catches lost us the match, so come on guys we have to burn the cylinders next week, we have to win.. i am hunger to score runs and win...

Satisfying performance on saturday and worrying performance on sunday continues.
The last 5 sunday, we lost 4 matches. Though we play with full strength. 3 against jaya team and one against muthu team.
We have all out 9 times out of 37 matches. this is almost 25%. Every 1 match out of 4 matches, we are all out. That is only for 20 overs. No LBW is there.
this is not a sign of good team.
I can not understand how come we can give 6 wkts to a bowler in 4 overs. We lost the match to one bowler.
we need to pull up our shocks and improve our batting. It does not matter, which down you play. Last week, we have 5 overs remaining, which is 30 balls , almost same as the balls which opener will get.
Please try to play straight as much as you can, does not matter even if it is dot ball
Please try to play in bat rather than get beaten by bowler
Please try to not get bowled
I hope we can improve our team's batting with practise in nets.

Excellent match on saturday, we started well in the bowling but gave some runs at the end of bowling, but excellent start from siva and jana,
it is good that whoever gets chance in toporder performes well and proves his ability, thats a good sign for the team, and we have to perform well consistantly..
There was a collapse in the middle order , hope we all will correct our mistakes and improve ourself as a better player...
Sunday it was a bad game which i want to forget, some childish act from the guys whose appearance is like WWF fighters..
Appearance is like buffalo and act is like a small child, I already knew that the idiots will make some silly things, but it was too much this time.
We played well , it was a close game when we consider the runs, but we didnt took any wickets, we need bowl even better.
Hope we can come even better in coming days..

Good intial bowling on saturday. did not bowl well at the last part. Mainly we gave some loose deliveries on leg side. This makes Senthil to score against us every match.
it was good chase. But very bad middle order collapse.we should not get bowled on straight balls. 6 bowled in an innings is not at all good sign
We always collpase like this, many many times. it is not good sign for a good team.
we had to struggle with last wicket
we never give chance to player like HARI for batting . Then these kind of situation, we should not expect good batting from him. Its pressure for lower order who does not bat in earlier matches, to play.
Anyhow, we won the match by 1 wkt, in last over.
Sunday match was a collapse in batting. Another 15-20 runs would have been handy .
Some good spells from Balaji and Shankar.
We lost the match this week , and 2 weeks earlier mainly because of Raghu. We should not give him easy chance to score.
But it was irritating umpiring, otherwise he was out in sankar's ball.

Shankar once again made a hugge score of 98,
Jag again showing the consistency and made 54 notout..,
and Siva taking 5 wickets in a match, it is as equal as a batsmen scoring 100, thats something special..
Congrats to all of them.
Somebody on every match has to take responsibility and perform, if we can do so then I am sure we can beat the best teams, we have lots of talent, just the day must be ours such that any one of us play their natural game and we willl win the match comfortably....

Challengers Cricket Club - Family Day - Step in process
Captain Message:
I propose lets have a Family day for our cricket club.
Its been more than year we playing together and our relationship is more than just team members playing with tennis ball.
We should celebrate our one year relationship .
So I propose it will be during mid -december time frame.
Everyone should come with their family ( ofcourse bacherlor guys can bring their GFs). This gives good opportunity to mingle with family people and get to know .
The expenses wil be shared among the team members.
The same day we will distribute some prizes to the outstanding players of the year.
Definitely we should encourage and reward the playes who have done so well for the team for the past one year
Plenty of awards will be given away.
You may have another 6-8 matches more to perform further to win these awards
few to be named
1) Best batsman 2) Best bowler 3) all rounder 4) best outfielder 5) Best infielder 6) best team spirit man ..etc etc
Ofcourse these prizes will be bought by myself and Anand.
What next?- Need suggestions
1) Time, date, place
2) attendance - compulsory for every team member ( including shift people, airport people, OT people ... )
3) AOB
Please do not make this one as another failure like we made for " CAP" system

Excellent win on saturday, our batting was excellent, good batting from shankar and shatish
but we still need to improve in our bowling and fielding department, saturday it was a dull effort on the field and bowling.
We lost the match on sunday, we lost consecutively 2nd time, comeon guys, we have to keep winning, we were winnning for almost 8-9 matches , just lost last 2..
But it was a close match , a boundary could have changed the result of the match, so never mind of that, the opponent may think they have done a big job, but we are almost there to win ..
I hope we will win in the coming matches..

Sunday it was a close match. We came back very well after conceeding 80runs in 13 overs. If I bowled slightly better 19th over we would have won.
I accpet I would have gambled with some hitter during the match. Lets see in coming matches.

On sunday it was a poor batting performance by everybody, none of us played sensibily, we need to play a sensible cricket, we need to understand the situation and play according to that. But some excellent bowling from shankar and siva, which made them to struggle even to chase this low score, some good fielding effort and a good team effort, but we need to bat really well and do not depend on anybody , we should play our own game. One more thing guys, please dont comment on the batsmen who are playing inside, it adds some more pressure to the batsmen, I will be very very happy if anybody comment on my batting during the drinks or after the match, or even if you are at non strikers end.
